LET ME TELL YOU THE STORY OF HOW PICCADILLY CAME TO BE.
I have long believed that one’s purpose can be found at the connection point between what is in your HEART and what is in your HAND. I’ve always been driven by the desire to help people find their purpose, accomplish their dreams and celebrate the special moments in their lives. At my core — what is in my heart — is the desire for people to know they are valued. And, in MY hand? A lot of glitter and excel spreadsheets.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved parties and weddings. An excuse to wear a fabulous dress, tie a big bow in my hair and dance the night away.

It was out of these things that Piccadilly was born in 2010.

So, why the name Piccadilly? Piccadilly was inspired by my grandma, Betty. She loved people and made everyday about bringing joy and inserting color into the lives of others.

Piccadilly is a word that evokes everything good about my childhood. My grandmother, an entrepreneur herself, owned a small thrift store named, The Piccadilly Emporium, or “Piccadilly”. The store was an extension of her personality – lively, bright, chock full of quirky goodness – and priceless collectiques, as she called them.

As a child, I spent countless hours there, sifting through antique handkerchiefs, reading old comic books and searching for hidden treasures. In her store, I first discovered my obsession with accessories and all-things-vintage. It was here where my grandma and I talked most, and where I watched how she cared for people.

At Piccadilly, I first hoped to start something someday that would bring as much joy to others as that small shop gave me.

It is my hope that Piccadilly Creative will not only be the continuation of her legacy, but also, the embodiment of all the fun, whimsy and love that I discovered in her shop.
