Social Print Studio aka the artist formerly known as Prinstagram is a new personal fave. I came across them when I was looking for a good way to print out a few of my favorite instas and display them on my wall as inspiration. (hello miami!)
I wasn’t really expecting anything too special, but from the moment I visited their site I was blown away by their sense of humor (yes! a brand with a sense of humor) and their awesome customer service. They made the whole process fun and easy. I’ve used them to print out regular prints (pictured below) as well as big poster prints and have been thrilled with the results on all accounts.
If you’ve been flexing your photography muscles on insta and want to show off your skillz to your non-social media savvy friends (maybe even rack up some IRL likes) then I’d definitely recommend you check out Social Print Studio.
Use the code : 1HANNAXNY1 and place your first order. Trust me, the order confirmation video alone is reason enough.
Have you ever come across a product and in an instant known that you’d undoubtedly be besties with whoever created it if you ever met them? No? Just me then. Well that’s the feeling I had when I first stumbled across
It’s kind of impossible not to have a crush on a company that is dedicated to reminding YOU how awesome you are. The brain child of Chantelle, a self-proclaimed lover of puppies and yoga, Be., launched a brand of super fun & fabulous bangles to remind each of us of our own unique value and general wonderfulness.
I was pretty quick to jump on the band wagon and ordered the bangle pictured above. I love the reminder and wanted to do anything to support a woman run company with a vision that so closely mirrored my own. What’s more, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have bangles in up to an x-large size. A brand focused on body positivity that actually practices what it preaches. So refreshing! I’ve spent most of my life banished to a bangle-less existence because I’ve never able to find the right size for my arm. (They’re NOT one size fits all!)
The moment it arrived my budding attraction turned into a full blown crush. Especially after I found out that for every bangle purchased, a young girl in Africa can go to school for a day. Seriously smitten.
When my friend and amazing photographer, Jen Eun, approached me to do a styled shoot with the bangles I didn’t think twice. These are just a few of the fun shots we took on breezy January morning (don’t let the sunshine fool you… it was coooold).
I’d highly encourage you to check out Be.. Just reading through their “Our Story” section will inspire you and by the time you make it to their manifesto you’ll be ready to jump small buildings in a single leap.
I am a sucker for a fun art print. Especially ones that include words or sayings. I’ve often joked that every wall in our house tells you to do something. I think it might be true because these (here, here and here) are just a few of the prints that live on my walls.
So you can imagine my sheer joy when I stumbled upon Society6.
According to their website , “The artwork on Society6 is created by hundreds of thousands of artists from around the world”. I could get lost on their site for days. There are so many fun art prints, home decor items, shirts and my fave, phone cases. The fact is, the reason I’m writing about them today is a bit selfish. You see, I was browsing the site for a new iPhone case and I found too many that I liked. Now I can’t decide. That’s where you come in. I want your vote! (Yikes! I just had a flashback to my student government days) The following (in no apparent order) are my top 4.
1. DREAM BIG.
Love the ocean. Love the message.
Pink flowers. Need I say more?
It’s simple and to the point. Also, I love the contrast and fun scripty lettering.
4. THE QUEEN
She’s got shades. She’s got a crown. She’s cool. God Save the Queen!
Thanks for your opinion! I’ll let you know which one I end up with.
I came across it for the first time a few months ago thanks to my fabulous friend Sess. She always has wonderful suggestions for new beauty products. It has definitely become my all time favorite. I’m particularly fond of the “Succulent Pomegranate” because it’s not only a very pretty pink (I think it works for just about everyone) but it also tastes good! It’s like lip smackers for grown-ups! My inner 8-year-old is thrilled!
While it does cost a bit more than chapstick, it’s a fun splurge that I think you’ll get your money’s worth for!
